I took it back to Wal-Mart for a refund and did my printing in the office set up for tenants of my apartment complex. You get what you pay for. WRONG.
My printer at home died, and I wanted a low-priced printer to use why I looked for a better one. I saw the iP2600 at Wal-Mart, and the price was $30.
I thought it was unlikely that two printers would be bad. I needed to print MapQuest instructions for a car trip I was soon to take. The first iP2600 said that it did not recognize the ink cartridges that came with the printer (the wrappers were all removed).
I took it back to Wal-Mart for a refund and (goofy me) bought another iP2600. The software said the printer was not connected, although the USB and power cords were plugged in.
Don't buy it.it's a piece of junk.
For the price, this printer is wonderful. The print quality is good and it's easy to use. My only complaint is that the ink seems to run out pretty quickly.
The printer is fast and simple to use, but I am disappointed in the print quality of photos.
It just works. Apple or PC no problem setup. This is my second Canon and I love it.
Everything was going so well. UGH.
The Printer controls your ink use through MICRO CHIPS. For example, it tells you when you need ink, so you are a slave to it.
LIKED THE PRINTER at first, BUT HORRIBLE DEAL. AND WORST OF ALL, you must replace this (UNUSED) Color Cartridge BEFORE you can print again.
I only print BLACK & WHITE, but the color gets used up. How is this possible.
I hate this so much. DO NOT BUY unless you are made of money and enjoy going to STAPLES all the time for refills.
